Natural selection is a myth, evolution-believers came up with.
There is no such thing as natural selection. All the living entities
were created by Lord Brahma - god of creation.
If natural selection were a fact, the species wouldn't have evolved
beyond cock-roaches. Nobody is better equipped to survive than
cock-roaches. Cock-roaches can survive even an atomic blast.
In fact there is no need in nature for humans to evolve In fact,
humans disprove natural selection. Humans are not only frail as a
species, they are ill equipped to survive. So many species are better
equipped to survive in nature than humans. In fact, humans wreak havoc
on nature.
What kind of evolution would select a destructive, idiotic species as
humans to survive?
So evolution of the species according to Darwin is no less than pure
nonsense. Never in the history of mankind has it been observed how one
species, via many gradual mutations, transmutes into another species.
In the Vedic tradition, however, an evolution of consciousness is
understood.
The soul, which is an atomic particle of God's consciousness, is
situated in all living entities. The human life-form is a rare
occurrence for the soul. Every piece of grass, every microbe, every
bacteria, every ant is a soul, so we can understand how rare it is for
a soul to obtain a human body.
In the human body, the consciousness of the soul is sufficiently
evolved to understand God and its relation to Him. In all the other 8
million non-human species, the consciousness of the soul is limited to
the bodily needs of eating, sleeping, mating, and defending.
In the material world, the consciousness of the soul evolves gradually
from fish, plants, insects, reptiles, birds, animals and then to
humans (including demigods, Rakshasas, Gandharvas etc).
"One attains the human form of life after transmigrating through
8,400,000 species by the process of gradual evolution. That human life
is spoiled for those conceited fools who do not take shelter of the
lotus feet of Govinda." --Brahma-vaivarta Purana
